Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Blessings! The summer season is finally ending and for many of us these summer months continued to be challenging times. We want you to know that your Regional Synod of New York continue to thrive thanks to your generosity and prayers. We are forever grateful for your partnership in our Summer VBS, Camp Programs at Warwick and summer mission activities and their success.
After a global pandemic pushed us into a yearlong quarantine, the summer months brought the promise of our churches returning to normal and reopening with the opportunity to explore new ministries. However, with the new Covid variant, Delta, normality, new ministry opportunities, reconnecting with family and friends seems to be on hold and still out of our reach. Even so, let us not lose hope but continue the good work placed in our hands. Jeremiah 17:7 reminds us that, “ But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”
