Sherri Meyer-Veen is a member of the RCA’s Restructure Team, which is using the practices described in “Pursuing God’s Will Together” to guide their process. Sherri is excited to share this book with others who desire to support the Restructure Team in their work. Abby is always delighted to learn with and from church folks who want to grow their capacity to lead with thoughtfulness and maturity.
Why this book? Church boards and other Christian leadership teams have long relied on models adapted from the business world. This book helps teams transition to a much more suitable model―the spiritual community that discerns God’s will together. In this reading and group discussion, you will discover personal and group practices that will lead you into a new way of experiencing community and listening to God together.
