The Regional Synod of New York

RSNY raising money to support historic church buildings

“Then Jacob woke from his sleep and said, ‘Surely the Lord is in this place — and I did not know it!’ And he was afraid, and said, ‘How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.” Genesis 28:16-17

Some of the oldest and most beautiful buildings in New York are Reformed Churches. Many of the Landmarks in New York City are Reformed Churches. Our faith history and heritage is preserved and proclaimed in these beautiful holy places where we worship today and hope for our children to worship in tomorrow.
It takes a lot of time and money to maintain these beautiful places of worship. Many of our congregations are experiencing difficulty finding the resources needed to maintain their buildings and we need your help. Our buildings tell a story about who we are and that story is a deeply rich one that celebrates the grace of God through Jesus Christ. Our buildings are the place where people come to experience that grace and participate in that grace with the wider body of Christ.
The Regional Synod is raising money in 2019 to help churches with needed repairs and maintenance work on their aging buildings. We need A LOT of money!! Please consider making a contribution — every bit helps!! Our churches need you!
Help us keep these buildings beautiful. Help us keep our beloved churches looking like the houses of God, the gates of heaven, that they are.

*All contributions are tax deductible. Checks should be made out to: RSNY, with “Buildings” in the memo line. 100% of money raised will go toward church building repair and maintenance.
