Disconnected: The Gift of Silence
A Pastor’s Retreat
Presented by The Regional Synod of New York
For God alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope is from him.
God alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
Psalm 62:5-6 NRSV
All pastors are invited to attend a 24-hour spiritual retreat at The Warwick Retreat. Join us for a time of rest, renewal and self-care while creating space to prayerfully disconnect from the busyness and noise and listen for what God is saying to you in the gift of silence.
The retreat will be Thursday, July 6 at 3:00p to Friday, July 7 at 3:00p. at The Warwick Center, 62 Warwick Center Road, Warwick, New York. Rev. Michael Bos and Lesley Mazzotta will lead short sessions that combine Bible study, poetry and music with group conversation. The retreat will offer plenty of time for prayer, personal reflection, journaling and walking around the beautiful Warwick grounds.
The cost is $185 per person, double occupancy or $215 per person, single occupancy. The cost covers Thursday dinner, Friday breakfast and lunch and all retreat materials. Registrations are due to the RSNY office by July 2: newyorksynod@gmail.com or 914-332-1311.
