 Church Culture of RCNP

• Familiarity with RFA stance, membership in Reformed Association with UCC, green church status, connection to historic street/community (see websites)

 Worship Responsibilities

• With the Worship Committee, plan each service through the writing of the liturgy, choose hymns w/organist, deliver sermons and children’s message,
• Administer sacraments (includes pre-baptismal counseling)
• Officiate weddings and funerals.

Congregational Care

• Develop and support the church’s programs—choir, church school, etc.
• Visit hospitalized congregants as needed and provide care for congregants who are seeking comfort and/or guidance
• Assist with confirmation

Administration

• Supervise staff, establish regular office and work hours
• Serve as president of Consistory (if RCA)
• Attend classis meetings (approximately 3 times a year if RCA)
• Work collaboratively with consistory members to execute the leadership responsibilities of the church
• Lead small groups to foster connections as we transition
• Provide transition leadership
