The Japanese American United Church is affiliated with the Reformed Church in America and the United Methodist Church. It has been the only organized Japanese church in New York City for 124 years. The Sunday service is at 11 am and is bilingual, Japanese and English. During the school year there is a Sunday school and youth group and childcare is provided upon request. There are small group Bible studies in Japanese and English. During the lunch hour there is J-Forum, a free Japanese study group for those wishing to learn or practice the Japanese language.
