  • What is Ridder Church Renewal all about?
  • What’s involved in this learning process?
  • I’ve heard that Ridder is changing. What are some of those changes?
  • How long will my congregation need to commit to this?
  • How much will it cost?

If you have any wonderings or questions about Ridder Church Renewal…

Then please come to a Taste & See event on Friday, November 3, 10am-4pm at Greenville Community Church, Scarsdale.

Come get a taste of some of what this process of renewal is about, as you are lead through a time of learning – with a presentation, a time of solitude, and a chance to share personal reflections.

Then we will see what the next phase of Ridder has in store, sharing stories of transformation while getting to the nitty-gritty basics of content, structure, commitment, and cost, along with any other questions you might have.

Pastors, as well as other interested church leaders and congregants, are encouraged to attend this free event (and if your congregation currently doesn’t have a pastor, please don’t let that stop you from attending this event).  Lunch will be provided.

Please RSVP or send any questions to
Greg Town, Minister of Revitalization and Renewal for the RSNY —

This process of transformation requires each congregation to have a team of 3-5 people dedicated to learning and practicing together with other teams from other churches.

In addition, in order to have the greatest missional impact in your community, the scope of Ridder is being expanded to include non-RCA congregations in your neighborhood/town/village as well. If there is another congregation (whether RCA or not) in your community with whom you are connected and do regular ministry, you are encouraged to invite the pastor(s) and/or leaders from that congregation to join you at this Taste & See event, in the hopes that you can journey together in transformational learning toward mission.
