From Surviving to Thriving workshop

The Center for Evangelical Mission (CM) invites RSNY congregations to attend a practical workshop that will provide proven ways that will strengthen church ministries.

Experts are predicting that as many as one-third of Christian churches will close in the next ten years. This workshop will help your churches not only survive but also thrive.

The workshop will be held on Long Island at Ascension Lutheran Church on Saturday, September 29 from 9-4p.

It will be conducted by Lutheran theologian Rev. Dr. John H. Krahn who has helped multiple churches succeed for nearly 50 years. Dr Krahn is the author of the bestselling book, From Surviving to Thriving – A Practical Guide to Revitalize Your Church.

Here are some things you will derive by attending:

  1. You will receive a dozen or more practical ideas for strengthening your church.
  2. You will learn the most successful ways to increase your congregation’s financial stewardship ministry.
  3. You will learn how to invite the inactive members of your church back into more regular worship.
  4. You will learn ways to more effectively invite the unchurches into your church.
  5. You will experience fellowship and learning as you share with Christians of multiple denominations.

The cost of the workshop including breakfast, lunch, and materials is $25 per person. Spaces are limited. For more information and the registration form, click here.
